BWX Technologies Inc. (BWXT) has been a major supplier of heavy fabrications to industry for more than 100 years, including components for defense applications. We have designed, fabricated and shipped more than 1,100 heavy pressure vessels and other heavy components for the U.S. government over the past five decades. During that time, BWXT has also continued to achieve record-setting performance relative to customer schedules. We have rigorous quality systems in place, and are focused on continuous improvement in all aspects of operations through implementation of Lean Six Sigma and Human Performance Improvement initiatives. Along with naval nuclear work, BWXT's Mount Vernon, Ind. and Barberton, Ohio facilities also manufacture heavy pressure vessels for commercial nuclear applications.
