Mike T. Fitzgerald is senior vice president and interim chief financial officer for BWXT. He directs all aspects of the company’s financial operations.

Before joining BWXT in 2022, Mr. Fitzgerald led MorganFranklin, LLC’s aerospace and defense practice as managing director. During his tenure,
he was responsible for the development and delivery of financial and information technology services that addressed complex challenges at the core of the industry. Previously, he served as audit senior manager at
Deloitte & Touche, LLP.

Mr. Fitzgerald is a certified public accountant specializing in technical accounting, financial reporting, financial planning & analysis, mergers and acquisitions and business process improvement. He has significant experience leading global projects and complex business initiatives across the aerospace & defense sector and government contracting community.

He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University and a Master of Business Administration from Fitchburg State University. Mr. Fitzgerald also serves on the board of CRi, a Northern Virginia community-based nonprofit organization focused on providing personalized resources to people with developmental disabilities & mental health needs.
