BWXT Awarded CA$55 Million Contract for Feeder Supply in Support of OPG’s Darlington Refurbishment

(CAMBRIDGE, ON – April 13, 2017) – BWX Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:BWXT) announced today that its subsidiary BWXT Canada Ltd. (BWXT Canada) has been awarded a feeder manufacturing contract from the SNC-Lavalin / Aecon joint venture (JV) valued at approximately CA$55 million. The feeders will be supplied to Ontario Power Generation (OPG) Darlington’s Units 1, 3 and 4 reactors as part its refurbishment project.


BWXT Receives $30 Million (Canadian) Expanded Scope for Feeder Inspection Services at Bruce Power

(BWXT Canada) has been awarded a four-year amendment to its existing Master Services Agreement (MSA), which went into effect on January 1, 2015, for feeder inspection services at Bruce Power, located near Kincardine, Ontario, Canada.

The expanded process is being launched now to seek additional partners who are ready to fully participate in the mPower™ SMR licensing and other pre-construction activities needed to deploy the lead mPower Plant by 2022, consistent with the schedule for the mPower America Project with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
