BWXT Subsidiary Awarded $128 Million in Contract Options from Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program

(LYNCHBURG, Va. – March 31, 2020) – BWX Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BWXT) announced today that the U.S. Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program exercised contract options in Q1 2020 with BWXT’s subsidiary Nuclear Fuel Services, Inc. (NFS) totaling approximately $128 million for fuel manufacturing work in support of the nation’s nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers.


BWXT Announces Amendment to Credit Agreement

(NYSE: BWXT) (“BWXT”) announced today that it has entered into an amendment to its May 24, 2018 credit agreement with Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. and other lenders that increases its borrowing capacity while delivering lower rates for the company.


BWXT-Led Team Wins Department of Defense Contract for Mobile Nuclear Reactor Design

(NYSE: BWXT) announced today that a team led by subsidiary BWXT Advanced Technologies has been awarded a $14 million contract from the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO) for a mobile nuclear reactor design project.


BWXT Awarded TRISO Nuclear Fuel Manufacturing Contract. Production to be Completed by the Fall of 2020

(LYNCHBURG, Va. – March 11, 2020) – BWX Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BWXT) announced today that its BWXT Nuclear Operations Group, Inc. (NOG) subsidiary has been awarded a contract from the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) to manufacture TRISO nuclear fuel to support the continued development of the Transformational Challenge Reactor (TCR).
