(LYNCHBURG, Va. – January 3, 2023) – BWX Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BWXT) has named Omar Meguid as senior vice president and chief digital officer effective January 1, 2023. In this new role for the company, Meguid will be responsible for BWXT’s comprehensive digital platform supporting its business operations in the U.S., Canada and United Kingdom.

Given the importance of this function, Meguid will join BWXT’s executive management team and report directly to Rex Geveden, president and chief executive officer.

Meguid has more than 30 years of corporate experience in incorporating governance and architecture development to establish strategic roadmaps for business and corporate functions. He joins BWXT from IT consulting firm All Digital after serving as the vice president and chief information officer for L3Harris Technologies. Prior, he was the vice president and chief information officer for several business units within United Technologies, including OTIS Elevators, Carrier Corporation and UTC Fire & Security.
