B&W To Provide Boiler Components for West Virginia Power Plant

The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W) (NYSE: BWC) announced today that its subsidiary Babcock & Wilcox Power Generation Group, Inc. (B&W PGG) has been awarded a contract to design and supply reheaters for three 660 megawatt coal-fired boilers at FirstEnergy's Harrison Power Station in Haywood, W.Va.

Reheaters are specially designed tube bundles used to increase the temperature of steam in a boiler.

The preliminary delivery date for the first reheater is scheduled for early 2014.
