Suzanne Maddux is senior vice president, operations, at BWXT bringing more than two decades of leadership experience across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and large-scale organizational transformation in the aerospace and defense industry.

She oversees enterprise functions including Environmental Health and Safety, Security, Operational Excellence and Supply Chain, driving efficiencies and enhancing overall operational performance for the company.

Ms. Maddux most recently served as vice president of global supply chain for Mercury Systems, where she was responsible for supply chain operations across 24 global manufacturing sites and supporting more than 200 programs. In this role, she directed post acquisition systems integration and executed advanced supplier development programs aligned to classified defense growth.

Previously, she served as general manager and site executive for RTX’s Advanced Product Center, where she led full operational execution for the segment, improved profit performance through manufacturing transformation and drove long-term supplier strategies. Earlier in her career, she held operations, planning, quality and manufacturing engineering roles at Raytheon, Danaher Corporation and Cascade Engineering.

Ms. Maddux holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan. She serves as a board member of the DFW Minority Supplier Development Council and council president for Preston Meadow Church.
