On February 19, 2021 at approximately 8:15 p.m., the fire alarm at BWXT Nuclear Energy Canada’s Toronto plant was accidentally activated during maintenance on a compressor, resulting in a response from Toronto Fire Services.
There was no health or safety risk posed to the public, environment or employees.
