BWXT celebrates at the Cook Out 400

BWXT took to the track literally and figuratively at the Cook Out 400 in Martinsville, Virginia. Our company logo proudly graced the hood of the No. 6 BuildSubmarines.com Ford, while eight lucky employees enjoyed an unforgettable experience from suite and pit-box seats, courtesy of Blue Forge Alliance.

Employees from several sites had the unique opportunity to meet Brad Keselowski, the driver of No. 6 and team owner, along with other personnel.

“This was an amazing experience,” Safety Culture & Learning Technologist Gary Tanner shared. “Brad visited the suite, discussed his race team and answered our questions.”

Blue Forge Alliance is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting careers in the submarine industrial base through its BuildSubmarines.com platform. A key part of their mission involves partnerships with RFK Racing, showcasing local industrial base companies on the car’s hood during NASCAR Cup events throughout the season. This initiative not only highlights our contributions but also recognizes workers for their vital role in national defense.
