Supporting Local STEM Learning

Last month our Peterborough team volunteered at a science, technology, engineering, math (STEM) focused workshop for intermediate students at Prince of Wales Public School.

To help bring the activities to life, several BWXT employees lent their skills to cutting wood for birdhouse projects, and BWXT also donated two educational STEM kits to give students even more hands‑on learning opportunities.

Watching students collaborate, problem‑solve, and turn their ideas into reality was a meaningful reminder of the impact strong community partnerships can have.

A heartfelt thank‑you to Prince of Wales Public School for welcoming us, and to our incredible volunteers for generously giving their time and energy to inspire future innovators.
