B&W and USEC Inc. Complete Formation of American Centrifuge Manufacturing, LLC
The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W) (NYSE:BWC) announced today that its subsidiary Babcock & Wilcox Technical Services Group, Inc. (B&W TSG) and USEC Inc. (USEC) have completed the formation of American Centrifuge Manufacturing, LLC (ACM) to provide integrated manufacturing, assembly and delivery of centrifuge machines for USEC's American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon, Ohio.
B&W Wins Waste-to-Energy Plant Contracts in West Palm Beach, Fla. Totaling $900 Million
The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W) (NYSE: BWC) and its consortium partner, BE&K Construction Company, LLC (BE&K), have been awarded a contract worth more than $668 million to engineer, design, procure and construct a new, state-of-the-art waste-to-energy power plant for the Solid Waste Authority (SWA) of Palm Beach County in West Palm Beach, Fla.
B&W Receives $5 Million Grant for Small Modular Reactor Testing Facility
The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W) (NYSE:BWC) announced today that it has received a $5 million grant from the Virginia Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission (TICRC) for its Integrated System Test (IST) facility in Bedford County, Va. The facility is located at the Center for Advanced Engineering and Research (CAER), currently being constructed at the New London Business & Technology Center.
B&W Awarded Renewable Energy Contract in Sweden
The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W) (NYSE:BWC) announced today that its Denmark-based subsidiary, Babcock & Wilcox Vølund A/S (B&W Vølund), has been awarded a contract worth more than $30 million to design and supply a boiler, combustion system, emissions control components and other equipment for the expansion of a waste-to-energy, combined heat and power plant in Lidköping, Sweden.
