(B&W PGG) subsidiary has been awarded a contract by Colorado Springs Utilities to engineer, procure, construct and commission an emissions control project for the Ray D. Nixon Power Plant, located south of Colorado Springs, Colo.

The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W) (NYSE:BWC) announced today that Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc., its newly formed subsidiary that will hold the company's power generation business, has filed an initial Form 10 Registration Statement with the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The filing relates to the previously announced plan to pursue a spinoff of The Babcock & Wilcox Company's power generation business to create an independent publicly traded company.

(NFS) has been awarded contract options for work totaling approximately $169 million from the U.S. Department of Energy, Naval Reactors Laboratory Field Office. This work has been awarded under the $302 million contract B&W previously announced in 2014.

B&W Vølund Awarded Contracts For More Than $200 Million For Biomass Power Plant in Wales

The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W) (NYSE:BWC) announced today that its Denmark-based subsidiary, Babcock & Wilcox Vølund A/S, has been awarded contracts by Margam Green Energy Ltd. for more than $200 million to engineer, procure and operate a state-of-the-art biomass power plant in Margam, Wales. B&W Vølund’s consortium partner, Interserve Construction Ltd., will build the plant.
