This October, we will be conducting emergency response drills at our Peterborough facility, located at 1160 Monaghan Road, and our Toronto facility at 1025 Lansdowne Avenue, in conjunction with local emergency responders. These recurring drills strengthen our emergency response capabilities and ensure our procedures are well coordinated and effective.
Our employees are trained in fire prevention emergency response procedures, evacuation routes and their specific responsibilities during an incident. Each site follows a comprehensive emergency response.
To keep our communities informed, we share general drill information in advance through mailers, banners, our website, email updates, and the NEC Facebook group.
Please note that we do not disclose specific drill dates or times publicly, as this could impact employee response and undermine the effectiveness of the drill.
