Think of eddy current inspection services as giving critical components a thorough “check-up” using the power of electromagnetism. We use a special technique that involves creating an electromagnetic field with an alternating current. This field interacts with the material we’re inspecting, revealing any hidden flaws.
Eddy current testing is applicable to any material that conducts electricity and can be performed on magnetic and nonmagnetic materials.
We use a variety of specialized probes, including the bobbin probe for volumetric checks and our unique x-probes for detailed detection of cracks and other indications. One of our standard tools is a highly specialized tight-radius x-probe. We use the latest technology and sophisticated software so our skilled analysts can pinpoint the exact location, size and type of any indication, giving us a clear picture of the component’s condition.
