Omar Meguid is senior vice president and chief digital officer for BWX Technologies, Inc. (BWXT). He is responsible for the company’s comprehensive digital platform supporting its business operations in the U.S., Canada and United Kingdom.
With over 30 years of corporate experience in incorporating governance and architecture development to establish strategic roadmaps for business and corporate functions, Mr. Meguid joined BWXT from his IT consulting firm All Digital. Previously, he served as vice president and chief information officer for L3Harris Technologies. Mr. Meguid began his career at United Technologies Corporation – later becoming Raytheon Technologies in 2020 – where he held positions of increasing responsibility in all IT disciplines for several business units within the company before he was named vice president and chief information officer for United Technologies Commercial divisions (OTIS Elevator Company, Carrier Corporation and UTC Fire and Security).
Mr. Meguid is a graduate of the Carnegie Mellon eBusiness program and the University of Virginia Darden School of Business Executive program and Senior Executive Program. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from Cairo University in Egypt. He is also fluent in English, French and Arabic and is a patent award recipient for elevator display systems.
