B&W on Winning Team for Paducah Cleanup Contract
The Department of Energy (DOE) has awarded the team of LATA-Stoller-B&W a cleanup contract, valued at approximately $285 million, at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant near Paducah, Kentucky. Babcock & Wilcox Technical Services Group, Inc. (B&W TSG) is a member of the winning team, which was chosen over four other bids for the contract.

B&W Volund to Supply Waste-to-Energy Boiler for Plant in Sweden
Denmark-based Babcock & Wilcox Vølund A/S (B&W Vølund), a subsidiary of Babcock & Wilcox Power Generation Group, Inc. (B&W PGG), recently signed a contract worth approximately $70 million to design and supply a waste-to-energy boiler for a new power plant in Sweden. B&W Announces New N-Stamp Certifications

B&W to Install Scrubbers at Michigan Power Plant
Babcock & Wilcox Power Generation Group, Inc. (B&W PGG) has signed a contract worth approximately $90 million to design, engineer, procure and construct wet flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems for two 825 megawatt units at Detroit Edison Company's Monroe Power Plant in Monroe, Mich. B&W Consolidates Commercial Nuclear Operations into Single Business Unit
The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W) announces it is combining two of its business units into a single organization to accelerate its growth in the commercial nuclear power sector. Babcock & Wilcox Nuclear Energy, Inc. will be formed through the combination of B&W Nuclear Power Generation Group, Inc. and B&W Modular Nuclear Energy, LLC. Christofer M. Mowry, currently the President and CEO of B&W Modular Nuclear Energy, has been named President of the new organization. The consolidation is expected to be effective in April 2010.
