2008 Plant of the Year

B&W supplied the spiral-wound universal pressure (supercritical) boiler island and primary environmental equipment for Wisconsin Public Service Corp.'s Weston Unit 4, Power magazine's 2008 Plant of the Year.

Weston 4 began commercial operation on June 30, operating at higher efficiency and with lower CO₂ emissions thanks to B&W's supercritical technology.
