B&W Awarded $40.3 Million Emission Control Contract by Colorado Springs Utilities

The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W) (NYSE:BWC) announced today that a consortium that includes its Babcock & Wilcox Power Generation Group, Inc. (B&W PGG) subsidiary has been awarded a contract by Colorado Springs Utilities to engineer, procure, construct and commission an emissions control project for the Ray D. Nixon Power Plant, located south of Colorado Springs, Colo.

The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W) (NYSE:BWC) announced today that Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc., its newly formed subsidiary that will hold the company's power generation business, has filed an initial Form 10 Registration Statement with the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The filing relates to the previously announced plan to pursue a spinoff of The Babcock & Wilcox Company's power generation business to create an independent publicly traded company.


B&W Subsidiary Nuclear Fuel Services, Inc. Awarded $169 Million Contract Options for Naval Reactors Fuel and Materials

The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W) (NYSE:BWC) announced today that its subsidiary Nuclear Fuel Services, Inc. (NFS) has been awarded contract options for work totaling approximately $169 million from the U.S. Department of Energy, Naval Reactors Laboratory Field Office. This work has been awarded under the $302 million contract B&W previously announced in 2014.

The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W) (NYSE:BWC) announced today that its Denmark-based subsidiary, Babcock & Wilcox Vølund A/S, has been awarded contracts totaling more than $220 million to design, manufacture and operate a biomass power plant in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England.
