B&W Announces George Dudich President, Babcock & Wilcox Technical Services Group, Inc.

The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W) (NYSE:BWC) announced today that George Dudich has been named President, Babcock & Wilcox Technical Services Group, Inc. (B&W TSG), a subsidiary of B&W. Dudich replaces S. Robert (Bob) Cochran who left the company to pursue other opportunities.

In his new role as President of B&W TSG, Mr. Dudich will be responsible for the management and operations (M&O) of complex high-consequence nuclear and non-nuclear operations contracted by the Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration, the Office of Science, Office of Nuclear Energy, Office of Environmental Management and other federal agencies. Mr. Dudich will oversee the operations of Babcock & Wilcox Technical Services Y-12, LLC and Babcock & Wilcox Technical Services Pantex, LLC, the M&O prime contractors for the nuclear weapons complexes of Y-12 National Security Complex and the Pantex Plant. Mr. Dudich will also be responsible for operations at U.S. national laboratories where B&W TSG is a member of the managing team, including Los Alamos, Lawrence Livermore and Idaho National Laboratories. In addition, Mr. Dudich will oversee B&W TSG's environmental management operations, such as the decommissioning and decontamination activities being performed at the Portsmouth Site and the disposition of transuranic waste at the Advanced Mixed Waste Treatment Project and the DUF6 operations underway at Paducah and Portsmouth.

Mr. Dudich has 27 years of domestic and international business development, project management and supply-chain management experience in the nuclear, environmental remediation, aerospace and power generation markets. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President, Business Development for B&W, a key member of the B&W executive team, responsible for defining and advising the senior staff and Board of Directors on strategic direction and growth opportunities for all aspects of the Company's business. He was also responsible for Government Relations and Business & Employee Communications.

Prior to re-joining B&W in 2010, Mr. Dudich served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for the Global Management and Operations Services Group of URS Corporation.

During his professional career, Mr. Dudich also served as Vice President of Business Development for the former B&W Services, Inc. operation in Lynchburg, Va; Project Procurement Manager for the B&W Power Generation Group in Barberton, Ohio; and Manager, ASRM Subcontracts in the Company's former Aerospace Components Division in Mount Vernon, Ind. He earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial Management from The University of Akron.
